Dr. Juliano Moro et al. at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), Brazil, recently published a peer-reviewed paper titled New Observations of Cosmic Noise Absorption in the South American Magnetic Anomaly (SAMA) Using a Next‐Generation Riometer. The authors derived the Quiet Day Curve (QDC) and analyzed data from five geomagnetic storms between July 2024 and January 2025.
The next-generation riometer referenced in the paper is our KeoRio Multi-Channel Riometer.
Dr. Moro will also present the paper at the AGU 2026 Annual Meeting, which runs from 7 to 11 December in San Francisco, CA.
